Hi there, my name is Cheryl Lowry. I'm a technical writer and digital media communications graduate student who lives in the Seattle area. I have a personal site here.

What's with the typewriters? Well, a few years back I decided there was just a whole lot of not much on the internet about this worthy topic, hence I started this blog. Things have changed since those pioneer days.

Brandon MacInnis and I edit Silent Type, which is a print zine featuring the works of many of the talented writers and photographers of the typosphere.
