Po...</title><content type='html'>I would like you to know that you are my hero!  Posting scans of that manual.  I was given a Lettera 22 by my Grandma that her husband bought when it came out.  And I love it, but the fact that it had no manual and was my first typewriter made using it odd a times.  I had no idea what some of the things did. Been using a &amp;#39;53 Ambassador (royal). Just located an Olympia SG1 (!), which I owned for many years, long ago. I&amp;#39;m waiting to hear if someone already got to it. If so, I wish them well (through clenched teeth). I was a bicycle mechanic for two years and an auto-mechanic.  I now am in school for Heating ventilation and air-conditioning. Argh, I hate it when secondhand shops know what they have, and price accordingly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My new Royal Quiet De Luxe has ribbon issues as well, though they&amp;#39;re obvious: Royal decided to make the little gear that turns the spools out of crumbly plastic that (shockingly) does not last 50 years.
