Oh, I mentioned it to her already, and we have agreed to go halfsies on a kit. The only major drawbacks being that she is an excellent artist and that I have hand-eye coordination that can best be described as "apelike."

Apelike or not, however, I yearn for a fancy block-printed logo for my blog. Forward!

I LOVE block printing. I absolutely agree about the pleasure of carving linoleum I tried wood, but was spoiled by linoleum.

I like the idea of altered books and would love to play around with them. I'll forgo any intellectual comment on our psyches or creative impulses. When Darren comes up for mid-tenure review I'm sure he'll cover this.

Heh heh...kidding! Just in case anyone's oblivious.

I wish there was some sort of certification program for typewriter keys used in jewelry, along the lines of Genuine Harvested from Unrestorable Typewriters (GHUT?). Of course, "restorable" is a fluid concept.
