Last weekend, Snohomish WA had its 2nd type-in at Uppercase Books. I took some video in response to a challenge somewhere out in the typosphere to videotape people typing, but didn't realize the challenge had to do with a specific date in June.
Anyhows, here are still pictures from the videos. I may never get around to editing/uploading the vids, but hoping this will do for now...

Cheryl, I see no pictures :-(
Yes, sorry about that. Technical probs.
Yay, pictures!
I forget, is that Sterling yours?
The people in the top two photographs are obviously honest citizens with nothing to hide. But the person in the bottom one ... well, it's clear from the pic that she's been trained in concealing her identity in public. What do we think, people? Could she be ... a covert agent employed by a global hi-tech mega-corporation, who has orders to infiltrate the typosphere? Comrade typists, be alert! (cue cheap thriller soundtrack type music)
Great pictures. Almost like being there. Thanks for persevering - now I know what a type-in should look like (great disguise by the way) and it makes SUCH a change to see folks in a different way to their profile pics!
I was having a bad hair day that afternoon. Darned this Seattle weather...
It's not the hair, the hair is fine, we like the hair. It's the swift movement of the right hand to cover the face the moment you spotted the camera and (this reveals the sophistication of your training) the inch-perfect positioning of the top of the frame of the spectacles to conceal the eyes completely.
Word: goose: a large aquatic migratory bird. (Do I get a prize for the first real word ever in Strikethru word verification?)
That was a fun day. Nice pictures. I think Ryan's hair has reached "Monumental" status.
Word: suptibi
"Hey, sup Tibi? How you doin'?"
Hello, just found my way to your blog. Nice type-in pics, makes me wish we had one here in Chicago.
I'm a barely three-week-old typewriter owner and typecaster. I'll drop in in again if you don't mind.
That's a no on the goose prize then. What's a guy hafta do?
Hi lo tech!
Bike, whatever made you conclude that goose is a word?
Dang, my mistake. How embarrassing.
