There's something about pens. You know what I mean. Hunting for the perfect one is a game that never gets old. This is why it pleased me greatly when Jet Pens sent me a few to review on Strikethru. But why should I have all the fun? I am going to post the reviews one at a time, and then when I'm done, have a giveaway of a couple pens. 'Cause it's good to get pens in the mail.
I'm going to start out with the Uni-ball Signo DX. It's a micro-tipped gel pen that comes in a mess o'colors. But first let me stop right here if you're in the mood for a comprehensive review from a legitimate source, and point you Office Supply Geek. Because let's face it, my reviews are generally just excuses to write with pens. But that said, here's mine (I may have referred to this pen as a roller-ball in the scrawls below, when it is actually considered a gel pen. It may be both. Sadly I dropped out of Pen U before earning my PhD in pen taxonomy):

Wow very nice! Still haven't tried that one. I can say though the Uni Ball Vision Elite .5mm is amazing. I already used up the ink in one. Luckily two came in a package! But now that I want another, just as backup, I can't find them anywhere. Walmart, with all of their taunting back to school things probably hid them on me somewhere...
P.S. Out of nowhere... If you want a great CFL bulb go for the Phillips brand at Walmart. Same price but they are way better and much more vivid. Just brought some home today and thought I would throw that out there. Sorry GE, Phillips has you beat 10 to 1 IMO.
I have a few Signos around, albeit other models, but those I have are black ink. And I rarely use them, because I can't *stand* black that isn't absolutely and utterly black and opaque, and the Signo isn't, quite. Doesn't bother me if other colors are a little transparent or less than vivid, but black must be black. It's a mental problem, I suppose.
I rather like this color! And I do like the *feel* of the Signos I have. Maybe one of these days I'll give 'em another chance, in something other than black.
Oh, and Jetpens.com rocks. Truly.
That ink is so fabulous. I want to take it on dates and buy it flowers.
wow, nice pen! I actually write that small on most occasions, unless I'm taking speed notes in class because some Professors just talk to darn fast. Then of course I get all cursively scribble and completely illegible. I also doodle. I think I might have to get one of these pens.
The color of this one is swell, I'd recommend it for that reason alone.
Thank you so much for this review. My daughter is having the hardest time in school(5th Grade) Using the papermate erasable for the first time. Smeary mess. Where can I purchase this pen. I really want to give it a try. Thank you again.
Howdy Anon, of course you can order it from Jetpens.com, which ships stuff pretty fast, is my understanding. If you wanted to get one in person somewhere, I am not sure which other retailers sell it specifically. Anyone know?
