This is the tablet I'm using, if anyone is curious. If you're wondering why one would want to pencast if it didn't involve Parker 51's or Clairefontaine notebooks, well, good point.
But the tablet is kind of fun, for the record.

I don't think tablets count as a pencast. You have officially crossed over to the Dark Side.
and i'm watching my yearly xmas round of Star Wars, so read that in a Darth Vader voice. merry xmas!
This brings to mind two things:
1) Them's some pretty pitchers. The ability to draw, along with write, distinguishes pencasting from typecasting. Unless you count illustrations made from typewriter symbols (like early computer graphics).
Perhaps we needs a typecast graphic arts throwdown to liven up the wintery doldrums?
2) You're not a "purist" pencaster unless it's with handmade inks, harvested from various trees and shrubs at no more than 25 miles radius from your primary domicile; or using charcoal burnt in your firepit in the backyard. Everything else is caving in to the dark side! (Just kidding. Sort of.)
